After all the years of rebuilding my credit, I have fell back to where I was when I joined this forum back in 2003. I lost my job back in August and it took me two months to find a job and it's only paying a few cents over minimum wage in NYS. I would love to consolidate all my credit cards to one card but with my low scores (low to mid 500's from mid to high 600 just six months ago) it must be virtually impossible. I have about $4-5000 in combined CC (Mastercards and store cards) and I wanted to consolidate the three MCs (about $3000) into one card. Is there any credit cards that I can combine them into with my low scores?

With all due respect - with today's credit problems, foreclosures, mortgage problems, banks tightening credit, banks driving interest rates to loanshark levels, hounding even good paying customers, your consolidation attempt will probably go nowwhere.

That's what I figured as such but I thought I would try to ask anyway!

Do you still get credit card offers with low intro rates? If so, you might apply for one and see if you can transfer balances to that card.

Do you own your home?? If so, how much equity do you have? Can you qualify for a home equity loan?

Does this look like a long-term situation, or do you think your income may increase soon?

Some people like to make everything gloom and doom. There are still deals out there.

Good advice above and to add, I'd thought I'd ask if you have your own business. If so, you may be able to rely on your DnB file for maybe a Home Depot Mastercard or even a Citibank product for balance transfers.
