Consumer Handbook resource

    The General Services Administration has posted the 2003 edition of the Consumer Action Handbook as a PDF file. It's 18 megs -- probably too big for a regular modem, but I downloaded it in a couple of minutes (128k/sec fast!) with my cable modem. Here's the link:

    This comprehensive publication includes all types of consumer-oriented tips, spells out consumer rights, etc., including credit as well as a whole range of consumer issues. Contact numbers and addresses are provided for every consumer-relevant government office and agency as well as corporate contacts for private companies of practically any consequence.
