I sent a validation letter to a CA on 1/29/03 and I got the green card in the mail a week later. They have yet to send me their validation results, however I received a phone call from them just minutes ago - they were trying to collect on the debt. I understand that this is a violation. What should I do next? Wait on their validation, or act on their violation?

Contact before CA completed validat Well actually, they called me at work - no caller ID. I was able to get the lady's full name and direct phone number. I also recorded the exact day/time of the call. She told me that the account was just assigned to her.
