I have two inquiries from a company called US Collections on my Equifax credit report. I've done several searches and can't find any contact information for this company. Has anyone ever heard of them and if so, do you have a phone number or address?
Every creditor/collector who wants to pull a credit report need to give contact information to the credit bureau. Calling Equifax themselves should get you their contact information. Apologies -- if I seem to be stating the obvious.
I already contacted Equifax and the telephone number they gave me is disconnected. I sent a letter to the address they gave me, but it was returned with no forwarding address. Do you think that I will have any luck getting Equifax to delete these two inquiries? They are both hard inquiries so they are lowering my credit score.

Re: Re: Contact Info for US Collections? Excuse me Mr. EQ CSR I did not authorize US Collections to pull my credit report, and the address you gave me is not valid, and the phone number is disconnected. Just who in Hades are you passing out my private information to?
