I filed a lawsuit against TU back in January...the lawsuit was an attempt to remove my BK7, and 3 charged off debts, that had incorrect info that kept on coming back verified..still incorrect, the BK is true, but incorrect, and I was using the FCRA clause that "incorrect info must be deleted, or corrected within 30 days" as my basis for suit. I was contacted by the law firm of Satzberg Trichon Kogan of Phila, PA...the guy wasn't very knowledgeable, and said it would'nt be fair to just delete the BK since it was only a year old...I told him that it wasn't fair that TU screws with so many people, and gave him the bottom line, Delete the information, and send me an updated report, and I would dismiss with prejudice... He said he'd take the offer to his client.... Now, realistically, these idiots are probably charging TU 2-300 dollars an hour, and this could potentially cost them thousands in legal fees, if I did not decide to dismiss.. My ? is...it there any way I can tell this to TU, and tell them that I would like to deal with them directly, to save them money, and offer a settlement of the 3 deletions, in exchange for dismissal. Does anybody know a fax # for TU, preferrably into the legal department...I am very sure they would like to settle this, costing them as little as possible. Any info would be helpful, thanks!! Arthur
You need to talk to Psychdoc on this one, I believe he cut out the TU middleman. Here's the Link and a repost: http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...ostid=138851&highlight=Trans+Union#post138851
