Applied for GM CARD online and got the reply saying:it is under processing and will hear in 14 business days; but the website says instant decision, strange. So will wait for 2 weeks to apply for corvette card
Congratulations Tix!!! It feels good doesn't it! David1, that is message that I received. You can call immediately at the number that they provided and they can tell you approved/denied. I also applied for the Corvette card not more than 10 minutes later and was approved instantly for that.

Just got my card today. I called to activate it, I already spoke to someone when they emailed me that I was approved. They would not increase the limit at that time. But I figured what the hell I will ask again upon activation. Well they put me on hold and the lady came back and said ok we increased your limit from 3500.00 to 5000.00. This is my highest limit so far. Actually 3500.00 would have been my highest limit also. I am so happy.
PAE, they had declined me also online. I have bk since 6 months in equifax with 660. Today I got an email saying approved for $2500. you may also get it later.
I received my card in the mail yesterday. I called to increase the credit line and was told, "did you know you already have a gm card with us?" My response, "yeah...and?" Since my GM card is a little over the 90 day mark, they won't increase my Corvette card. I have to wait until the account ages.
Re: Re: Corvette Mastercard Approve Not any more. At least, they approved me, 5.5+ years post chapter 13...
Re: Re: Corvette Mastercard Approve Hmmm...anyone else? Is this a change...because recently there was a UP with 6+ year old Bk on it..now this..would love to have more info on this..thanks
NanaC, On March 26th I applied for three Household cards online, the Corvette MC, GM Extended Family, and GM Card, in that order. This resulted in just one inquiry on Equifax. At the time my FACO Privacy Guard score was 688. I had a chapter 13 showing as filed in May of 1998, no other derogatory items, and nothing of consequence in dispute. (I was disputing a former address and a few AU accounts, but nothing derogatory.) I had one inquiry from the previous six months. (Well, it could have been two, as I applied for the Circuit City card on the same day, and can't recall which I did first. They also pulled Equifax.) I was instant approved for the Corvette MC and GM Extended Family, at $3k and $4k respectively. I was given the 10-12 days message for the GM Card, and later approved for $1k. (It seems their online application process balks at the third application, as the same thing happened when my mother applied.) So, I wasn't yet at the six year mark, but I think my score was pretty good and thanks to AU accounts I was able to show established credit going back to 1999. Without the AU accounts, I had nothing but two student loans opened in 1999, a Target guest card and two $500 overdraft lines opened in the middle of 2002, and a home loan opened in early 2003. (Btw, I was also approved for the Circuit City Plus card with a $3k limit, so you can confirm that on your list.)
