I am disputing a final bill with Qworst wireless and at the end of the letter I wrote "This is an attempt to refute a debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose" I crack myself up sometimes. P.S. Thanks for all the posts to the Innovus thread. At the least it will raise awareness.
I'm disputing a current bill with them, qWorst, LOL. Don't know if it will help you or not but the FCBA says you have to submit disputes in writing, blah blah blah, to whatever address they designate, not the same as the address where you mail payments. If you look at your statement, they have no designated address, only a phone number .
Do you have the correct address to send a disputed billing? I was preparing to send it to the billing address in Denver.
No singledad, I did the same as you, mailed it to their billing address because I wanted to have a papertrail. They tried to say I didn't meet the timeframes because it didn't go to the right place. I said, I sent it to the only address you had listed; there isn't one designated for billing disputes. The FCBA says designated address, but they only have a phone number listed; I think that's how they try to keep things verbal, but if you do the verbal, won't ever be found again. I just wanted you to know so if they try the same with you, you didn't mail it to the right place so you're outside of the time-frames for disputing, the argument doesn't work because there isn't another address.
Thanks sassyinaz, I was going to hold off until you replied but I will send it to the "only address available" Yes it does seem to be their method of communication, by phone, no papertrail, no evidence.
