    I have a 120 day late on a mortagage with countrywide back in Sept of 2002, I have disputed as "not mine" and "payment never late", I also sent a goodwill letter. None of these worked! I am buying a new home which will be completed in Oct. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this further.
    Thanx in Advance

    Did you goodwill thru PFB or a general Countrywide address?

    Become a goodwill pest, or maybe figure out how to move higher in the chain of command.

    Countrywide is really, really hard. I would recommend you dispute until you can't anymore. It took me a year to have 3-30's and 4-90's off and that was from three years ago. They will not budge you have to dispute until you can't .

    ===============
    Who did you dispute it with country wide or the cra.
    Try this:
    Dispute it with the CRA Stated like this.
    I was not 90 days late.
