    Hello,
I refi'ed my home last December. The closing occurred on Dec. 31, '02. I made my first pymt in Feb. Four months have gone by since closing and it still does not show on any of my cr's. I'm hoping it will show up and that it will help my score.

Does anyone have any experience with Countrywide and how they report?

I'm in a similar situation. My Countrywide loan funded in Dec 2002 still doesn't appear on my most recent credit report (mid april).

I got my loan at the end of september. I was around feb when it finally report and they have not updated it since then. They are really really slow.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but most home loans do not show up on your CR until around 6 months after closing.

you have to call them and request that they report your loan, otherwise it will not report until 6 months passed.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll sit tight until June. Can I expect a bump in my Fico score, tho'?

My tanked 80 points but I had an 80/20 loan so that was probably the reason. Hey arobinson I email you but never heard back. Waiting for the check still but it seems they settled.

Thanks for the reply. I got a 90/10 loan. I thought the loan might help my score because of the higher credit granted to me. Oh well, all my work for nothing.
