Hey all, thanks for your help in the past. I have some pesky entries here. 1 account, which I mistakenly paid off, is causing 3 negative entries... Two for Discover (1 charge off, 1 dupe from when I lost the card), and 1 for the CA, which is listed as 'paid chargeoff'. I think I can use a modified 'Knockout' letter on the CA, but I'm really not sure what to do with the OC. They really have no motivation to talk to me, and my disputes so far have been ineffective. The second item I'm trying to eliminate is a CA account for a chargeoff, where the OC has dropped off. I sent a request for validation and they responded promptly, saying 'attached is your validation'. (nothing attached) I'm thinking nutcase, but I'm really not sure. I also sent them a C&D and it looks to me like they're not going to pursue any legal action. (however, they did NOT update my status on any of my CRA files to 'investigation' and they verified with the CRA's) Help? Thanks Keller
