When I dispute something on my credit report, does it get removed while it's being disputed, or is there just a notation stating it's being disputed?

it is not removed, just says "in dispute" or something to that effect. Some people say their credit scores go up when item's are investigated, I have not been as lucky. Mine have not risen, and stay the same until the investigation is complete.

Thanks Gracie. Would it still be notated while you were in the validation process with a CA?
