Ok, I have evidence that 2 of the 3 bureaus had, at one point, switched my information with the information of another individual (who happens to be my father, but for the sake of argument, it could have been anybody.) Being the bonehead I am, I called to inform them of the error a few months back when I started to clean up my report. But that doesn't change the fact that they made a screw-up in the first place! I should ask them to validate everything, since there's a small possibility that their systems hiccuped when the SSN was changed (*shrug*) Question: is this grounds for disputing anything in my report now? After all, the file they have on me was under another person's social security number!!!
Don't worry about it now...unless you get something that is not yours..THEN DISPUTE IT~~"NOT MINE" The WRONG SS# may come back...just watch out for it.
BTW if you have any of your father's old positive revolving TL's showing on your reports, leave em alone!
