A few months ago, my husband disputed entries on his credit reports. We received updated reports from Experian and EQ stating the information could not be verified and would be removed. New credit reports came with the items removed.

We just applied for a mortgage two days ago, and to our suprise these very items, previously removed are right back on the reports sending my husbands credit score from the high 600's to the mid 500's.

What do we do now? Intent to sue letter? What rights do we have in this situation?

    Thanks!!!!

Send them a letter stating that they reinserted Itmes on his report and highlight them and notify them that Under the FCRA section 611 that they must notify you within 5 working days of a reinsertion and they did not do it and if these items are not removed within 15 days and a coprrected copy of your credit report is not mailed to you in that time fram you will sue them. Just sent a letter like that to Experian yesterday as they reinserted a judgement on my report that was my late wifes and not mine. Rest assured if they do not remove it I will SUe them in Federal Court.
