I recently disputed an HSBC chargeoff and got a letter back today stating "Our records show that your creditor previously verified as accurate and thus we will not reinvestigate and consider this frivolous etc... Now they state the only way they will reinvestigate is if I provide a letter from the creditor or recent court papers that explains what should be updated. This is from TransUnion. I sent 3 certified return receipt letters to HSBC with no response. It is still reported incorrectly as is the subsequent collection account resulting from this. It's really funny that the address listed for correspondence on my report for the last 3 months was in Las Vegas but all of the sudden its in Oregon. PLEASE HELP, HOW SHOULD I PROCEED NOW?

First off, what/how exactly are you trying to dispute it?
