I just returned my leased vehicle to Ford, and I will owe a tidy sum for excess milage. Ford Credit has already indicated that they'll allow me to make payments, but I'm curious as to how this will be reported to the CRAs. Will it just remain an open account with an adjusted balance; will it be a new TL; or will it be a "collectable"? Thanks in advance.
