    Hello everyone
first THANK YOU for your help
well i emailed all 3 CRA's about them re-aging my credit on my report and they justified it and said it is not re-aging it was just showing that date reported means that CRA is doing their job and verifying everything once a year that is why every year they update the date reported OMG are they full of BS or what and i told them that is not what date reported means and why is stuff on my report still on their after 9,10 years ? unreal !
now on my report it has date opened and date reported but by CRA date reported is not date of last activity? but they don't show date of last activity
what should i do ? i've been fighting with them in writing and calls for 2 years and still nothing has been removed and all they say is they are all verified and never send me the actual proof or documentation just that they are right and i'm wrong even with having 3 different spellings of my last name on my credit report with me faxing and mailing them my DL to prove who i'm and last name!!!
also they have accts showing bought by an other lender but yet i asked who this lender is so i can write them and they said we don't know and were not given what lender bought my old debt?
please help , i've been dealing with this for so long that i'm burned out from aggravation .
thanx to you CN for your info and all the help being given us and also i did file a complaint .everyone should file a complaint against the 3 CRA's so action can be taken BY FTC

What date does the CRA claim is the date of original delinquency, and when do they claim it will fall off?

The CA is required to provide this date within 90 days of posting a negative tradeline.

    hi
i have no date given to me by the CRA's they say a different date every year . on my credit report it does not say when last activity was it just states date open and date reported !
i have never been given a credit report from the CRA's to show date of last activity and sadly who can remember from-almost 10 yrs ago when i last made a payment.
can someone help with when the CRA's say they don't know what lender bought my delinquent acct.
    thanks for your help

The CRAs are required to remove 7 years after date of first delinquency. The CAs are required to provide this date within 90 days of first posting. Without it, the CRA cannot comply with the law. If you know it is past 7 years, file a complaint with your state AG, outlining their BS.

If the CRA does not know the date of first delinquency, they are violating the FCRA. They cannot comply.
