I called crap one to get my annual fee waived today, the rep said that my account had only been open a year and was not eligible for a APR decrease or waive of annual fee, I tried a CLI increase also and she said no to that also, the acct has been at a limit of 500 for a year. My account is paid in full so I said close it and she said fine consider it closed, I followed up with a letter detailing the events of the call, told them to ensure it was reported as "closed by consumer and 0 bal. This feels really good to dump them , I have much better cards and they really suck.
Well done!. I closed mine like three years ago and was the best thing i could do. I already have plenty of Platinum cards with prime banks
