    Sorry if this posts twice...

I read in a post that CRAs are not processing faxed disputes. Unfortunately I can't track down the post anymore!

Anyway, is there any truth to this? I would like to fax in my disputes if possible.

    Thanks!

To date I have always gotten results from faxing disputes. I think they just have a disinformation campaign going to decrease the number of faxes coming in.

Whatever you do, make sure you fax your dispute during business hours. The fax doesn't typically answer after hours.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear they take them. Cnoob, have you faxed experian? I was planning on using the faxes in the FAQ.

Denny, is the Experian number in the FAQ not correct? Also, when you say not valid, do you mean your faxes didn't get through, or that it was a wrong number and you therefore never got a response as well as sent highly personal information to a stranger?

    Thanks,

    Jim
