Check this out. I have had sent two letters- one to EQ, the other to EX, both via CRR. I get the postcards back-NO SIGNATURES, DATE OF RECEIPT STAMPS, NOTHING!! Is this a conspiracy?

At the very least I would go to the Post Office and ask for my money back.

They will send a duplicate REQUEST for free...
If you get the same answer, (NONE), you can get your money back...

I go the same thing. They sign it and covered the line with the serial number. I have no idea what they are doing.

I had this happen to me with Macy's. I had to go to the Post Office and they have a digitized scan of the signature of whoever signed for the mail. Apparently, when they goto their P.O. box to pick up they have to sign a salmon colored form as well. It is this which is then scanned and any post office in the US can make a copy of that scan for you as long as you have the certified RR bar code or ###'s.

Those green postcards can take forever to get back to you. It's not just with the CRAs and sometimes the post office workers don't ask them to sign. If you need proof something was delivered you can contact your local post office where it was mailed (takes forever!) or call the post office where it was delivered. Within two hours they can tell you if it was delivered, when, to whom and send you a copy of the scanned signature.
