If you are seeking verification of a debt from a CA I ALWAYS send it CRRR but if you are trying to settle a debt then it is *MY* opinion that you don't need to send it CRRR. Unlike a verification request even if they do get your settlement letter they do not have to reply or accept the terms of it.
