I have copies of all three of my CRs and was wondering was does "Account in dispute - reported by Subscriber" mean? I noticed a few accounts are disputed on my report without me initiating them.
It means that a dispute was issued to the furnisher (OC or CA reporting), and they are noting that the account is in dispute.
What is so strange is that I haven't disputed any accounts this year but there are four that are being disputed - and they're all with Asset Acceptance. Why would it be listed as disputed if I didn't initiate it?
Yes, I did. Sometime late last summer. Wasn't it supposed to be cleared off by now if it has not been verified?
