Has anyone vere heard of this? If so is it worth the time for the seminar or to buy the book? I was thinking about buying the book and attending, but I do not want to waste my time and money. Thanks for the help.

Are you talking about the seminar and book by Stephen Snyder?

I bought the book a week after filing and I found it to be extremely helpful.

The seminars were never in my area so I cant tell you about them, sorry!

That would be the one. Thanks for the info. Does the book go into alot of detail or is it jsut theory? Have you actually used any of the ideas in the book?
I think I will attend the seminar if at all possible, but its a 3 hour drive.

I bought the book. I'm underwhelmed. The book is great if you're a new home buyer or have tax problems. It advocates (and I agree) opening three new trade lines as soon as possible after discharge (installment loan, *secured* credit cards). If you're are not highly religious (Super Christian), you have to plow through his religious quotes, plus a full chapter (written by someone else) that Snyder wants you to read monthly after filing bk, (along with daily readings of your bible, of course.) I AM using the book in the sense that I'm trying to establish new trade-lines but you can get the same advice from Creditnet without paying nearly $30 for the book. He also advocates using a credit repair organization (so does this site) if you want to do it right, but for many people post bk the fees charged by professional organizations are too steep.

I'd try to make it to the seminar. People who attend it find it very worthwhile - Snyder is an excellent speaker plus vendors (Ford, mortgage companies) show up too.
