I have a car that I owe $22k and about $7k worth of credit card debt. I also have 5 collections on my credit report which add up to the total amount of $7k credit card debt which my ex-girlfriend left me with (she was authorized user on all my cards). I gross $3.6k/mo and take home about $2.8/mo. I am thinking about returning the car and declaring bankruptcy to dissolve my $7k credit card debt and the rest that I owe on the car loan. If you were in my shoes what would you do? I need some good advice on how to sort this whole mess out. Thanks.
