I've been reading a number of posts about those that have "left the building", some that are coming back, and some that never left. I've also read about members trying to post links to other sites and having those posts deleted. I have not personally seen a post deleted that referenced another site ... but if that's the case it is a serious accusation. I was wondering if we could have a permanent thread that identified all websites and bulletin boards that would be helpful to members. What do the other members think?
I began trying to clean up my credit reports about 18 months ago. I found the following sites along the way, however, this site [Creditnet] has been the most informative and has helped me the most. www.chexvictims.com www.creditinsiders.com/wwwboard www.bayhouse.com www.creditmania.com www.badlandlords.com www.budhibbs.com www.lawdog.com http://members.aol.com/victcrdrpt/index.html (although this site has not been updated in a while) http://www.edebtnetwork.com/content/collection_laws.asp The key to using this site is to search the archives for previous posts. There is almost always a response to get you started on a solution.
JTrain - Thanks for the list of links that will be a great start!!! OK CreditNetters ... post your links. Deven
I've posted a link to my site before and that post was deleted. Mine is a fairly new (someone called it virgin) site. I am still working on content but several (around 30) folks have already signed up on it... I'll post the link again and hope it doesn't get deleted again... http://www.creditasylum.com <!-- end shameless plug-->
http://www.cardreport.com/wwwboard/wwwboard.html is WhyChat's site - er, at least the site WhyChat posts at frequently.
Here are a few credit discussion board links I posted here back in the day, lol. (Some have been posted in this thread already, but I'm just doing a quick copy/paste this morning. Plus one or more may have gone away or changed url since I last checked.)
