Re: CC List with Mortgage updated i You mentioned Nextel as being unfriendly until the 7yr mark to avoid a deposit, I got my Nextel phones less that 1 yr out of BK-7 with no deposit, they did the credit check, and my scores were around 550 or lower. I had no trouble at all. After a year, I cancelled and restarted up again a few months later, and there was no problem the second time around either. I think they are BK friendly.

That was me that Nextel did that with and I had about 650 and a verizon phone already. Hmmm. So, folks with Nextel after BK? Is it possible...we need a tiebreaker! Teehee! No, honestly, anyone have info on them after BK so we can get a complete picture?
Re: CC List with Mortgage updated i wow! Thats odd nana, I bought my phones from Circuit City, and the cashier guy called Nextel over the phone and had them do the credit check and stuff while I waited. It took about 10 minutes. No problems. Hmmm... Anyone else?

Re: CC List with Mortgage updated i For those with SBC Ameritech Phone Service who need a cell phone!! Ok, called Ameritech today because my local service had been switched without my knowledge. So as I'm ?itching at the representative, I asked her what the hell else can you do for me? She said well we can offer you a cell phone from cingular because you're pre-approved. I go yeah right. I told her that I applied just in May and they denied me. Well she said that through them(Ameritech) that I'm approved. I said well ok then give me the phone. They verified my dob and drivers license and I was approved for two phones. So, the deal is this. You have to call Ameritech and find out if your account is flagged that you are preapproved. I think after that its a shoe in. The rep. said that you almost always get approved through them if your account is flagged. Then your cellular bill is included on your Ameritech bill. Oh Yeah, plus you get a monthly 10% off any plan that you choose. For those of you who want to know, my EQ is 616, EXP 596, TU 525 with a discharged bk7 from sept02. I think you can add this to the list of bk friendly Good luck!

Re: I"ve updated the list-hope it h I got target VISA with 695 and I have CH7 1993 & CH13 1998. My score was temporarily inflated due to disputes. My current EQ is 672. 3 more CAs scheduled to be deleted, so I am hoping that my score will go back up to the 695 level for real!

Re: I"ve updated the list-hope it h My score was 557- I was mistaken in my earlier post- they pulled EXP not EQ. I have quite a few negs- 13 to be exact. But, the letter of denial clearly stated "bankruptcy" as the reason.
Re: CC List with Mortgage updated i I got a pre-approval offer in the mail from Nextel. They checked my Equifax and score at time was 664 and I have a ch7 bk from 1998. I did not accept because I have Sprint. Hope this helps.
