    BK Friendly - Part II

I would remove Aspire, FCNB, CAP1 secured. Add Merrick Bank-unsecured-$1000 600's. Add rejections Wells Fargo secured, Speedway/SuperAmerica

Why would you remove them? I know several people that have them under those circumstances so curious.

How long after Bk for Merrick? What was the aprox. score?

Thanks for the info on rejections...

Re: BK Friendly - Part II

FCNB and Aspire bit the dust they are no longer available. Aspire has been gone for almost 18 months. FCNB was shut down in March 2003. I am almost 100% sure Capital One does not offer the secured credit card anymore. I still have Cap One secured and got another limit increase lately but I am pretty sure it is no longer available. Merrick Bank unsecured $1000 limit 12 months after discharge $0 annual fee scores were at the time EQ and TU 650, EXP FACO probably 600.

Also add Providian gold or Plat $1000 limit unsecured $0 annual fee. I have seen a few of these aproved the last few months between 4-12 months since BK FICO ranges 600-650. Does Cap one still offer the Kmart Mastercard $50 unsecured to start off? I've seen a couple of those around 6 months after discharge FICO between 550-650. I'll be back with more after I look at more credit reports.

O.k your right, I don't even know why I questioned you. The Aspire is now again being issued under the Columbus Bank + trust, Compucredit, Ex Next Card, emerge, on and on dump your sub-prime to somebody else etc. There was a time period where it was no longer being issued, probably when they were switching again. On-line applications have been away for 18 months. Sorry about that. Is First National Bank of Marin on this list? www.fnbmarin.com

Amalgamated Bank of Chicago www.aboc.com I asked 3 different people on the phone if they deny a secured with a BK. All three said no. $50 annual fee but no other dumb charges. Decent APR for a secured card though. You have to have an application sent to you, no online app.

    Hi Mirage!

YUP, I still have the AMEX and I think I was the lucky one who was approved for GREEN CARD DURING my Chap 13 payback.

I have had that Card exactly 4 yrs this July - and they WILl NOT upgrade to any card until the BK falls off the record.

BUT, I am certain the stuff falls off this OCT, AMEX will send a preaproved offer of some type....but again, maybe not!
