As in Pepsi Center?? Are you the reason the AVS have that beautiful building, George? LOL I wish they had a middle ground card but it looks like it's secured for BK and unsecured, no BK. Oh, well. Hubby just told Aspire where to put their card and shredded it. Never late, nothing, paid off. Now closed. Tried Target Visa with a 660 but it was a no go..he got the guest card though...whoohoo..I'm not a target guest card fan at all.

Can add Pottery Barn as a non-bk friendly.

Car Max is bk friendly. Not sure what the factors are.

A friend of mine bought an auto from them with a bk-7 that is 6 years old.

$22,000 purchase price/ he put down $10k and received an APR below 7%.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

First Union financed my first post BK-7 auto purchase approximately 20 months after filing. Terms were 60 months @12.5% APR and $1k down.

    NanaC,
Thank you very much for the update. I have given your earlier list to so many people now I have lost count. It has really helped many of my friends and clients start rebuiding their credit.

This is an invaluable post and I appreciate it very much. PBM should make it permanent.

    Sincerely,

    clc

I am surprised that no one has said that Dell and the other computer sellers have extended credit to BK people. I haven't applied for a computer loan but I would think that as competitive as the personal computer market is that Dell at least would extend credit.

If I am wrong and they are tough credit grantors, I apologize.

We plan to buy new computers in the spring and assumed we could finance thru Dell.
