Hi Guys I am being sued by a CC we went to court I denied the total amount of charges, they sent me copies of charges (So they have them ready for the next court date). No signature on any of them. I really did not spend up to the amount they are saying I spent around 600 and charges were being made without my consent. I am not paying them 1500 dollars we go into court in a few weeks. any suggestions?
If you didn't make the charges, then who did? Is this a case of identity theft? You need to get a police report, and try to get your case postponed until this is sorted out
What types of things were the charges for? Were any at places you have never done business, for products shipped that you never ordered or received, etc?
How much time has elapsed since the charges? Did you dispute the charges within 60 days of receiving your statement showing them?
thanks guys for your reply. just found out that the creeps went into court and got a judgement i did not get the change of date that was moved up. So it begins... I am filing bankruptcy. It is funny I would have paid over half of the charges.
Are these the only debts you are including in bankruptcy, or do you have other debts you are not disputing?
