I have questions about a semi-old credit card debt. Some info: -I live in Florida and have for two years. Before this I lived in Kansas and this is where I received the credit card. -The date of last payment was 11/03/00; date of charge off was 6/12/01 -Has the statute of limitations expired? If so, how can I prove this (i.e. court cases, specific statutes)? -Is this a written contract? If not, how can I prove this (i.e. court cases, specific statues)? -Is this an open-ended account? If so, how can I prove this (i.e. court cases, specific statutes)? -The only information I have is from the collection agency, how can I actually verify the date of last payment, the credit reports I bought are unspecific? -Lastly, is there anything else I should know before my trial?
