I currently have a score of 625. Three years ago, shortly after the recession hit, I missed a payment on a card while moving and had the account closed on me. I have a secured capital one card that I put $500 on and they gave me an additional $100 ($600 total), and a capital one cash rewards (unsecured) with a very low $500 limit. I'd like to get a card that actually has a usable limit, but don't know what to apply for. I always pay my bills on time, and only a few times have not paid the balance in full. Any suggestions on what I should apply for?

Frankly, it would be best to wait until your scores rise to around 650. You'll have a better chance at getting approved for a rewards card with a decent credit limit. The Capital One Cash Rewards Card is a good option to check out.
