Once a CC expires, what do the CC company's look at before determining whether to renew or not? Is it another hard inquiry and a full credit check or is it based on your history with that card?
In my case, most of them do periodic "Account Reviews" (AR) in order to keep tabs. These are "soft" inquiries. Then, when it comes time to renew, they are already abreast of the situation - and send a replacement card several months in advance. -Cliff
