FoxNews.com reports that we consumers are doing an increasingly terrible job of paying our credit card bills. The economy continues to take its toll. Here's the link: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,38271,00.html Doc
FICO has nothing to do with people not paying their bills on time. We are all responsible for the debt we incur. What I don't like is when creditors withhold the processing of payments so the customer incurs a late fee. But if we mail a payment two days after it is due, we know we're in the wrong and we have got to be more responsible. Dani
Re: Credit card repayment at 4-year Thanks for setting lbrown59 straight, Dani. He enjoys inserting FICO-paranoia comments in most any thread I originate. Unfortunately he's having trouble containing his knuckleheadedness this time too. Doc P.S. FICO burned my pancakes this morning.
Re: Credit card repayment at 4-year F.I.C.O. is giving George a headache...no kidding, really..just ask George.
What is flim flamed? How can that be attributed to people not sending their payments out on time? Either you mail it on time or you don't. Dani
It's called a due date, you pay it and you are good to go, or are you saying you should pay your bills when it suits you?????
Seams some are coming up a corner short of a square when they read this, while others are coming out a dollar short of fifty cents.
Re: Credit card repayment at 4-year Please clarify. Were you confused by Momof3's point that creditors usually do set the due date? (After all, you agree to the terms of repayment when you borrowed their money.) Thanks, Doc
Re: Credit card repayment at 4-year I'm talking about the date paid She referred to due date. The two are not one and the same.
I didn't say anything about a due date. No, what I say is it's not right to hold you accountable for a paid date that you have no control over!
Sorry I thought you were referring to the due date. I do however have much control over my creditors, I pay all of my bills online and I know when they are due and when they get paid.
