I have 2 credit cards now over 1 year each one, about 2k and 2.6k limit (with annual fee). What Card should I applied next? possibly without annual fee. My strongest FICO is Experian at 635. Thks!
Are you just trying to raise your scores or you trying to buy a house soon or why exactly do you want more credit cards? If you're just trying to raise your score, you have two cards so that should be enough to charge, pay down on time and raise your score, as long as they report to the CRAs. If you try applying for more cards this will only lower your score because the number of inquries and average age of accounts. Keep that in mind. If you're just trying to get as many cards and limits as possible, try to balance out the inquries from EX, EQ and TU so not all inquries are on one and none on the others. Also try and apply to all of which you wish to apply within the same month so all those inquries will fall off at the same time in six, twelve or twenty four months from now. Once you start getting decline letters or responses, stop applying. You'll just be wasting hards. The first step in all of this is to pull your credit reports from myfico.com and find out what is bringing your scores down. Then work on those. I'm certain none of the reasons are going to be "not enough credit cards."
