This is my first time posting but Iâ??ve been studying here for sometime. My credit scores average 650 and I have 2 â?? 3 negatives across the board. I recently disputing all negatives online and above is one of the first updates. After the update status shows as paid/collection account (which I donâ??t remember paying) opened back in 1997 and account history collection as of 5/2004. I donâ??t understand 1. Status states Paid and Account History states collection as of 5/2004. Is it still in collection or is it paid? 2. Iâ??ve read that negatives come off every 7 years. By which date does that go by 3. Lastly is my next step to contact ECMC about the account? Thanks for any and all help
