Has anyone tried to get credit during a dispute? I read somewhere that when applying for a card that has a automated and instant response, the system may just go by score and not notice that other accounts are under dispute. In other words, when you dispute with EQ or TU, your score jumps until the investigation is complete.
Not TU. Equifax. Equ lists your disputed items as in dispute, and the fico model doesn't consider those accts when compiling your score. So, score driven online apps, would have a better chance of being approved. Sam is the master at that. Do a search uder his user name "sam" and you're sure to find posts on this subject.
