Ugghh--I'm going to have nightmares tonight. Equifax is 697. Experian is my worst report. They deleted a Discover card account in September and now have it REINSERTED as Petition for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy/Never late. Oh, the bankruptcy is apparently from 1998--I didn't know you could file Ch. 7 twice in 7 years. IDIOTS, IDIOTS--could they use their common sense and look at the report as a whole!! The Discover account also was apparently opened in 1989--should have dropped off. And the best part, this is an account that is not even mine!

Sorry to rant but this is sickening!

I also have another social security number showing on my account. Has anyone experienced this? How can I have this removed? Other than this one Discover account, I can claim all the other accounts on my report.

    Whew, I feel better. Thanks.

They will probably ask for a copy of driver's license, ss card, and utility bill...
(I DON'T KNOW IS SO IMPRESSIVE ABOUT A UTILITY BILL)...

I SPEND MORE ON CREDIT CARDS EVERY WEEK THAN ALL MY UTILITIES COMBINED FOR ONE YEAR!!!!

Experian is bad about multiple social security numbers. When they merge my reports with someone else, I get that persons social security number in addition to my own. I am carrying three numbers on my report now along with the credit of two other people (it is all good credit). Their logic is that it must be you, it is your name. Just try to reason logically with these people - it doesn't work. I will get it off but it is aggravating.

Thanks for the info. I have been delaying what now must be round #5 or 6 of my letter writing campaign. The second social must belong to some of the strange addresses on my report.
