Hello, I just signed up for the credit expert monitor from experian (30-day trial), however, when I look at my report, neither of my Amex accounts are showing up. The only Amex account that shows up is a Gold charge card account (that was closed in November 2001). I've had a platinum cash rebate card w/ amex since 8/01, that is not showing up. Also, I upgraded to a Platinum charge card in 11/01--also not showing up on the report. When I upgraded to a platinum charge card, my account number changed, so I know for sure it's not the gold one that appears on the report. Also, in the inquiry section, creditexpert.com is added everytime I request a report! Is that bad? I don't want a lot of inquiries!! Has anyone had problems with Amex not reporting? BTW, I checked my TU a while back, and neither of the mentioned accounts above show either...
I have never had AMEX but, I have read many threads that have talked about the problem AMEX has reporting, I guess some cards they do not even report. The creditexpert inquiries are 'soft' and only you can see them. No point loss.
Amex has changed their numbering system. I don't any details but I was told it will be fixed by 3/15. Of course, I was told the problem would be fixed by the end of last year. TU is the only cra that Amex claims is not having a problem with their new system, of course, my never late Amex is now reporting as "terminated". Go figure.... Iv
Blue is not on EXP or EFX, my green card has now been declared inactive. My score shot up. I love it.
