Hello All, I am now officially down to 2 total inquiries on Experian. I was able to delete 7 more in this last run. All the previous verified inquiries deleted this tiem around. Even inquiries from when I refinanced in July are gone. That two month factor must be accurate. Mike G.
Are you talking about inquiries to obtain your report? If so how did you go about removing them? And whats the 2 month factor? Thanks Kellie
I don't know what the two month factor is either. My guess is .... waiting 2 months between disputes? or disputing 2 months after the inquiry shows up...
2 month rule It has been said on this board that companies keep inquiries on file for 2 months and then discard the information. So, if you wait 2 months or so after the inquiry, you may have success in getting a removal since they no longer keep those records. Anybody else have better information. Mike G.
Re: 2 month rule That may be the practice by some companies, but I have had numerous inquiries that were 6 months or older that were verified twice. Of course you don't know who is actually doing what they are required to do either.
