i first have to tell how much i have enjoyed this board since first posting at the beginning of this week, you folks here are a WEALTH of information that cannot be compared

ok that being said, i have another question

i am about to sign up for credit expert to receive my credit report and score - please correct me if i am wrong here. by the mere act of just signing up i will not be harmed in anyway score wise for this action...is this correct? no points against my score no hard inquiry nothing correct?

is it also true that i will be able to do a daily check with this service and it not harm me score wise in anyway?

    one more question

if i pull up a report on any given day, and it gives me a certain score, let's say i tell my finance manager hey, my score is such and such pull my reports now, will they come up with the same score i did?

    thanks, jimrie

You won't hurt yourself by signing up and you can get a new score every day and a new report every 10 minutes if you'd like.

There are many different scoring models, so the score you see on CE will probably be different than the score that any lender would see.

My CreditExpert score was 632. The same day my Credit Union ran Experian and it was 580. The next day my Credit Expert score went down to 623 due to the inquriy.
