I know I am pretty knew to this wonderful board and all the credit mumbo jumbo I have to learn but if what I have read so far is right it sounds like an Atty has no rights to pull a hard credit inquiry on me especially since I have not given them permission to do so. I have two hits on my EQ report for May '04 and June '04, just waiting to see one pop up this month. Please let me know if I am wrong in assuming this?

    Thanks,

If the attorney is collecting for one of your creditors, then they would have a collection purpose.

No clue the only thing is says on my CR under Credit Inquiry is: Atty Hanna for both dates. I guess I could try to call the CRA and ask for further information?

Yep, ask the CRA for the complete name and address for the requester.
