    Guys,

Does your transunion tradelins say $0 for various credit limits ? Based on what experian has, this can hurt your score. I have many tradelines reporting a $0 amount. I have a LOW transuion score and I'm wondering is this aiding in that score.

If the company doesn't report cl (like Capital One) then it will show a $0 for credit limit. To my knowledge it hurts your score in as much as it is taken into consideration for revolving account utilization. To get around this, I charged up my accounts to the cl that do this and then paid them off and therefore the "high credit" column replaces the cl column when figuring utilization and FICO.

Yup...you can do a search and read other threads regarding this issue. It really stinks! They used to leave it blank, but they've started putting $0 there, which means it will be included by FICO. Lawsuit is definately coming.

    CHECK THIS OUT...

    CREDIT CARD A~LIMIT $5000
    CREDIT CARD B~LIMIT $0<--------REAL LIMIT $10000
    CREDIT CARD C~LIMIT $0<--------REAL LIMIT $5000
    CREDIT CARD D~LIMIT $2500
    CREDIT CARD E~LIMIT $0<--------REAL LIMIT $15000

YOUR CREDIT SCORE WOULD BE KILLED IF YOU EVEN OWED ONLY $7000 BECAUSE YOU WOULD BE AT 93.33%~~~IN THE "REAL" WORLD YOU ARE ONLY 18.66% WHEN YOU USE THE "REAL" CREDIT LIMITS TOTALING $37500!!!

On the other hand...if you dipute, they will delete the tradeline. I'm getting rid of some recent tradelines this way...lol. Play the system :::sigh::: Hope I never need those tradelines!

I HAVE HAD THE LIMIT OF $0 VERIFIED...I SAID IT WAS $7500 NOT $0!!!

Also I lost my AMEX BLUE on EXPERIAN because I said my limit is $15500 NOT $0!!!

George, sometimes losing a card is a good thing.

This seems to be the trend with the CRA's...they delete good tradelines. They just won't budge on the bad ones. I disputed my balance on my First Premier account, EX showed $500 balance when the account has a $30 credit balance. EX just deleted the whole listing.

IMO, we should just play their game - pick out the ones you want deleted (big balances, 0 limit reporters) and dispute them til they delete the trade line, hehe. Hidden credit lines ;)
