Just curious, lets say you have a $2000 CL and in one billing period you charge exactly $2000 and pay it all off when the bill comes in. Is this "bad" when you make charges up to the CL?

No, especially if you're referring to a Capital One card where they don't report credit limits, so the only real way to show your limit is to charge is up to the max, then pay it off, and it will show something like: high bal:$2000 / cur. bal:$XXX
Also if the c.c.c. sees you charging up large amounts, then paying it off, they may be more likely to give you more substancial cr. line increases in the future.
