I have a few cards which consist of : Citibank Drivers Edge Fleet Plat Amex Blue Household Bank Bank of America I would like to ask for increases in available credit to lower my utilization and for balance transfers. Does anyone know who pulls a hard or a soft. I have had all of them for more that 6 months. Thanks guys.
Call BofA Retention Dept.for limit Increase, they may not pull hard inquiry over 6 months. You ask them whether they will pull hard inquiry or not for limit increase. In my case, I do it every 12 months and all they reviewed my payment history and they pulled soft inquiry from TU every month to 2 months. By the way, they offer me 4% BT until paid off with no check fee. Ron.
