Experian has this Credit Manager service that can give me access to my credit report 24hours a day. I can get unlimited reports & scores. Anyone tired this? My concern with something like this is, a Inquiry noted in my report each time I get report or score. Suppose I get report and score 20 times in a year, does it mean it creates 20 credit inquiries? If so, it kind of defeats the purpose of getting high score as lots of inquiries are not good. Does Trans Union offer something similar? Thanks.
What is a 'soft inquiry'? My credit reports list inquiries seen by creditors and those seen only by me. Are those seen by me, 'soft inquiries'? They aren't used in computing the score?

What if I log into creditexpert.com everyday will this log as a soft inquiry? or only when I actually pull my report?
I think George was using "100" as an example. You will get a soft inquiry from CreditExpert every time you log in to see your score (at most, one per day), even if you don't check your credit report. I have a "730" CE score and look how many (85) soft inquiries I have from pulling my score/report. Technically, you can get your report more than once a day. I often do expecially while I am awaiting the results of an investigation.
Jorgasm Equifax has something called Creditwatch, and you can get 6 reports in a calender year with your service, any after that you have to pay norm fee. 9.95 . The alert service sends you emails when changes are made i.e., inquiries,delete, adds They have a 30 day trial, which you can use for 1 month... You should at least get the 30 day trial.....
