I received a solicitation call from one of my credit card companies offering a free promotional period of their "credit monitoring" service. This made me think that this is their sly way of keeping up with your credit without having to pull 'soft' inquiries, etc, etc. What do you guys think?
Nah its their way of making money. Simple as that. Cap One offers everyone a 3 month free trial membership in CreditGuard but then the next bill its a trial with AutoGuard then YardGuard then Civil War Chess Pieces then...well you get the picture. -Peace, Dave
