I'm not looking to spend a lot of monitoring/ pulling credit reports as i'm trying to save every penny for PFD's, settlements.. etc...
But its seem if stay closely updated i can spot where a CA or OC might have made violations that would afford me the right to fine them or just have it automatically deleted.

I saw this message when i went to check credit Karma:

Credit Monitoring Alert on Jan 12, 2013 - The following account has been reported as delinquent on payments:
    Type: Payment Status:
    1. Other Collection Agencies Collection/Chargeoff

It doesn't give details of Who it is that reported this.
Since pulling my FREE reports, deleting & updating my new address in Nov 2012, Nothing new has happened other than receiving a few settlement offers and new CA first contacts which states i have 30-days to reply. I am within that 30 days. I haven't sent out a single DV letter yet (bad timing on my part, got busy at work during the holidays). So i don't have a clue who or what this alert is about...

I'm concerned that i need to PAY to pull all three reports again, but, how often do i need to keep doing that?
It seems a bit costly since i would be buying them each time i get an alert from Credit karma (which is the only free monitoring service i know)
Are there any credit monitoring service that looks at ALL 3 CRA's and gives details / updated credit reports and worth buying into?

On the Equifax 3-in-1 Gold, how do you get the free trial? Using that link, I can't find when signing up, any offer for it?

Just and FYI, i did try 2 year back to do some credit repair. and i signed up for Equifax 3-in-1. It sucked, you only got one report (a 3-in-1 credit report) and then when you needed another one you had to pay $10. The credit monitoring was ONLY for equifax too.. The price i paid back then was $16.95... Do you think anything has changed since 2009-2010 in that program?

    Kam -

It has changed somewhat. I googled Equifax 3-in-1 credit monitoring free trial and was able to find the sign up where you get 30 days for free, after that $12.95. The credit monitoring is all 3 CB, you can pull every 24 hours (it seems, I haven't tried yet) a fresh copy of your Equifax report. I did it mostly for my score though, they claim it's your FICO score, so I figured it should be true-to-life.
