    i currently use privacy guard.

what are your opinions of Equifax's CreditWatch, Experian's Credit Manager, and TransUnion's TrueCredit?

what other sites are out there that are trustworthy?

    why is it useless now?

btw, has it ever been determined how far off the experian score is from the true FICO?

    Re: Re: credit monitoring

$9.95/MONTH (GOLD) they dropped the daily F.I.C.O. SCORES AND SUBSTITUTED STUPID INSURANCE

    HIGHER PRICE--LOWER VALUE

are there any monitoring sites similar to PG that pull TU's bureau at no charge?

PG pulls equifax for me, and i signed up for Experians Credit Manager. I contimplated TrueCredit but that is only quarterly reports.

    thoughts please!

credit manager is kind of confusing. i don't know if it updates automatically or if i have to request. has kind of a cool simulator and calculators. it also breaks down the score and keeps track of changes in your score. i don't like how you cant view your full report - only sections at a time like derogatory accounts or inquires.

if you use privacy guard i think your better off paying the extra $10 for all three scores.

which by the way, i am really confused. i just ordered that option for hubby and myself...husbands highest score is TU (other two not far behind) with a score of 690. had Ch7 1998, total credit history is 5 TL's - 1 included in banko, 3 closed prior to banko, 1 carried thru banko but closed in 2001. has no open tradelines and mortgage doesn't report to TU. any explanation as to the high score?

I've been looking into IdentityGuard. (www.identityguard.com) They say they are the only monitoring service the has daily monitoring from all three bureaus. When I went to the sign up area for more information, it says it monitors Equifax daily. So I was confused about that and sent an email requesting information. (No response yet) It looks like a good deal, if it is the 3 bureau monitoring.

you can only see hard inquiries on privacy guard.

i like privacy guard, but i still don't get how the scoring compares to the "real" fico scores. haven't figured that out yet!

experian score is lower on privacyguard than credit manager, and transunion score is lower on true credit than on privacyguard - go figure!!!

NO "REAL" F.I.C.O. SCORES ON THAT WEB SITE...

on privacyguard? its only WAKO's (as i call them)

it would be nice to generalize and say they are lower or higher than actual - but there is no way to tell.
