Have a drivers edge CITI MC for 20+ years and get a call that said there was a possible misuse/breach/etc on the card..and was reissued a new card with a new acct # and a new rate up 5% from the old rate.. called back and got a song and dance about 2 late fees 6 months ago for the reason for the rate change. they gave me a lower rate for 6 months then back to the normal raised rated, when i questioned the original call about the breach i was told that info cannot be given out, so here i sit ...not sure that orig hit on my acct was valid since it has happened to a friend of mine also last week with a different card under the same MO. is there a way to put a complaint to someone or see if this is a pattern to justify a complaint to say my state dept of banking?
