credit repair 327 rule

    I was told that the credit reporting agencies must follow 327 rules for each negative reference on one's credit report. If any one of the rules are not met then the negative reference must be removed even if the negative is true. I was told this by someone representing a company in MI. I think he called it ICR. He wanted a fee of 250.00 for two people/reports. It sounds good to me but also sounds like a scam. Has anyone ever heard of this. Thankyou, Linda

    Well, I've never heard of any such thing as 327 rules they must follow. Of course, just because I have not heard of any such thing most assuredly does not mean that such is not true.

    Seems to me however that it is about 18 times more rules than are necessary to perfect a case in small claims courts according to the rules of civil procedure. That makes it pretty hard for me to swollow.
