If you hire a credit repair firm do they submit disputes, request for validation etc. in your name and address or do they admit that they working on your behalf and use their letterhead, address, etc?
Ottoguy, in early November I posted how they do it -- both what the disputes look like (their format) and how they are mailed on your behalf. Here's the link to my post: http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=106263&#post106263 Hope this helps! Doc
Thanks alot Doctor! Great answers. Still trying to figure out NO, NO, NO? What were the 3 questions you were answering no to George? Kinda reminded me of a recent date. ottoguy
SORRY YOU GOT CONFUSED...they have to "PRETEND" they are YOU!!! If they used their letterhead, or told them they were working for you, they would TRASH IT...AND COME AFTER YOU WITH BOTH GUNS BLAZING!!!
George, Read a bunch of your posts yesterday. Your throw in your little comments without answering anything. Then when an expert jumps in and helps a newbie (see me) you follow behind their letter with a bunch of shouting "CONFUSED?" Thanks for clearing everything up for me after Doc already answered the question in full. Get in the last word if you want, this is my last two cents on your lack of help. otto
SORRY FOR HELPING!!!!! I DON'T have to be here!!!! I DON'T PAY PEOPLE FOR SOMETHING I CAN DO MYSELF...

For clarity, George isn't shouting. I know it looks like it, but he isn't. If I remember correctly, George uses his computer all day and there are some case sensitive passwords that he uses. George finds it easier to keep his keys in caps rather than switching back and forth. You will see that he doesn't intend to shout. As far as the other concern, George did clarify his answers, which, for a newbie weren't very clear.I understood what he was trying to say, but I have been here for a while. I hope that you will continue to post.....
Sorry but that was totally uncalled for against GEORGE. He answered his questions and yet still got an attitude. Funny Roni I remember in days gone by you had your share of words LOL
